Leaving a pub in the early hours of the morning after a night of drinking and drugs Harley unwittingly stepped into the path of an oncoming taxi. His life changed forever. The traumatic brain injury he sustained damaged his cerebellum and frontal lobes, affecting his ability to control his movements, memory loss and speech difficulties.
Harley’s ongoing recovery journey has been long and hard but he has faith as he continues to strive to improve. His lifelong love of photography remains an important creative outlet. No longer thinking he can get away with anything, Harley shares his hard hitting life experiences with the message of “You think it will never happen to you. Just push the wrong button and you’ll blow it.”
