In April 2000, on the day before his birthday, Peter was hit by a bus while crossing against the lights at a busy intersection. The impact of the accident left Peter with many injuries including a traumatic brain injury. While the physical injuries have healed, the brain injury has had lifelong consequences for Peter.
As one of our most experienced presenters, Peter moves his audiences with the struggles of living with an ‘invisible disability’, the impact it has had on all aspects of his life and the journey of his continuing rehabilitation that has enabled him to regain his independence and become a contributing member of his community.
