Ferry Ride – Rydalmere to City

Let’s get together and head of to the city via a different mode of transport. The ferry ride from Rydalmere to the City (Circular Quay).

This will be a long outing. You will need to make your way to Rydalmere Wharf and meet the participants at the Wharf.

Time: 10:30am – Return from City at your own leisure.

Lunch options: You can either pack lunch and bring some light refreshments, or you have options of eating at the fast food outlet at Circular Quay called GATEWAY. Options on the day for visits:

• The Museum of Contemporary ARTS
• The Rocks
• The Botanical Gardens

These are just a stones throw away.

Opal Card: Companion cards must be brought with you the other day. If you have no opal card you will need to bring money for a day ticket and for some lunch.

History

Rydalmere wharf opened in December 1993. this happened after an 85 year break of operating between Meadowbank and Parramatta. Today Rydalmere wharf is served by Sydney Ferries that are operating between Circular Quay and Parramatta. Attached is a link to the Sydney Ferries Timetable:
