Group activities provide a great opportunity to do something you enjoy or try something new by joining an activity where you can meet other people with common interests, reduce social isolation and have fun.
Experience in running groups for people with acquired brain injury has taught us that it can be difficult to return to regular activities or find new ones following a brain injury.
Our groups are tailored to meet the individual needs of people living with an Acquired Brain Injury and encourage exercise, creativity, conversation and thinking (memory training and games that help your brain function).
Headway ADP offers a range of small groups activities. Groups include:
Ten Pin Bowling
Fishing 4 Therapy
Art Classes, Karate
Our group activities program is continuously reviewed and updated to reflect participants interests and skill level.
Headway ADP groups offer you the chance to try new activities and learn new skills in a supportive environment. You may choose to stay in our groups or when you are ready find others in the community.
